Laryea Kingston Backs Brother 'Olele' Kingson to Make Ghana's World Cup Squad

Ex-Ghana midfielder Laryea Kingston is calling on the Black Stars technical handlers to include his 'experienced' brother Richard Kingston to be selected into the Ghana team for the Word Cup claiming that the team will require experience to excel in Brazil. The suspense surrounding Ghanas squad to the World Cup has been intense with Black Stars Head Coach, Kwasi Appiah set to name a provisional list of 30 players for Brazil 2014 on Monday and Laryea who has missed both of Ghana's previous editions is rooting for his brother to make the squad. Laryea told GTV Stage Africa Show "Some people will say its because he is my brother but the fact is that we need experience in the team especially in the goalkeeping division and he (Richard Kingson) has proven for years that he is capable of keeping the posts". "I think he must be called up into the World Cup squad because he will bring a lot of experience into the team and as I say you cannot buy experience from the market, you simply cannot buy it". "Look at what happened to Chelsea in the Champions League, when Petr Cech was out, they needed an experienced goalkeeper to hold the forte and it took a 41-year-old Mark Shwarzer to keep the posts for them".
