Several shops were razed by fire on Sunday dawn at the Kumasi Central Market in the Ashanti region.
The blaze started at midnight and decimated nearly 30 shops at Adehye and Tweapea line. This is the third fire in less than a year.
About 30 shops were destroyed in a similar fire disaster at the same market in June last year.
Also in February this year, scores of shops, numbering more than 100 were destroyed in another fire outbreak.
Last year, in particular, witnessed several fire outbreaks across the country.
