But For the Qurun III Show You Im A Man

If only the Quran will allow me to have sex before marriage, I will prove to all and Sundry that I am a man, says a septuagenarian who is under pressure to have sex with a 31-year-old petty trader he has proposed to marry. While the 77-year-old, Awudu Abdulai, insists that he will not go contrary to the Quran to have sex until he presents the dowry, the woman, named only as Bushira, says she wants sex and claims it is a ploy to hide the fact that he is ineffective in bed. The two love birds, who stay at Sawaba in Kumasi, have been together for seven years and the woman is refusing to allow the dowry to be presented though she had introduced the man to her family members. Mr. Abdulai now feels cheated that the woman had used him for the past seven years and milked him of lots of money. He, therefore, took the matter to Fox FMs Nya Asem Hwe programme hosted by Agya Atta and Mmrantehene, to help him either take back his money or marry the woman. Bushira said although she was not staying with Abdulai in his house she had been visiting him every day and for the past seven years she had employed every trick to arouse him to have sex with her but all to no avail. She said anytime she made an attempt to entice him, the man would leave the room, and there was no occasion she saw any erection. I have come to the conclusion that he is impotent and there is no way I will put my neck into such a marriage. The only condition before the dowry is presented is for him to have an affair with me to prove his potency, Bushira intoned, as the two lovers trade words on air. In an interview with Mr. Abdulai, on phone he said he was married before and had children, adding that he never had sex with that wife before marriage, but confessed that prior to meeting Bushira he had sex with a certain woman he wanted to marry and felt very guilty as he went contrary to the teachings of the Quran. Mr. Abdulai bone of contention is that he is demanding GH5, 000 being money he spent on Bushira. However, Bushira insists that the money spent on her is less than GH5,000. Asked how much, she could not give the exact figure.
