Speed Up Search For Missing Body � Family Of Helicopter Crash Victims

Family members of the missing person in the helicopter crash at West Cape Three Point are calling for increased efforts to retrieve the body. Eight persons were involved in the accident that occurred in the Cape Three Point seas in the Western Region. Three people survived, with one, 29-year-old Walker Agortimevor still missing. There have been efforts, headed by the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority to retrieve his body since the incident occurred, but his mother, Mavis Agortimevor told Citi News enough is not being done to bring back his son. She said all the family is getting are assurances that her son�s body will be found but she asked, �if they are searching for his body, how are they doing it? How far have they searched? Why are they delaying and cannot seek for help from outside?� Meanwhile, the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority said it was on top of the issue. The Director of Air Traffic at the GCAA, Albert Taylor told Citi News, his outfit has sought help from other international organizations to help with the search. He revealed that three people have arrived from the USA to join the search team adding that the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation, local fisher folks, the Ghana Air force and the Ghana Navy have all been involved in the search exercise since Friday, stressing, �and so there is no let up in this�. Six of the eight on board the helicopter were workers of oil company, Schlumberger.
