The Civil and Local Government Staff Association of Ghana, CLOGSAG, has warned Government against any attempt to retrench civil servants. The group�s warning follows a disclosure by the main opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) that government intends laying off some public sector workers. CLOGSAG says the action if implemented would be against government�s white paper on the implementation of the single spine pay policy. Its General Secretary Isaac Bampoe Addo told XYZ news the association will take drastic decisions should government lay off any civil servants. �We are warning that we won�t sit down to let something like this happen or else, we�ll advise ourselves�.
