Woyome Says He Was Reimbursed With Funds Spent On CAN 2008 Projects

Businessman, Alfred Agbesi Woyome says he was reimbursed with funds he expended on projects for CAN 2008. The projects are the reports on the Environmental Impact Assessment and feasibility study on the entire project carried out by an English Company PMP Legacy, contracted by the LOC. Recounting events leading to CAN 2008, Woyome explained that he funded the projects because the LOC was financially handicapped. He intimated that he resorted to Court action to ensure full reimbursement of funds, noting that in pursuant of a Court judgement, he was paid the funds involved in the feasibility study done by PMP Legacy Company. He also noted that following the abrogation of an agreement with Libya on the crude oil supply, government refunded a deposit of $ 500,000 to him.
