Minister Entreats TEIN Members To Be United

The Kumasi Campus branch of the NDC's Tertiary Education Institutional Network (TEIN) at the University of Education, has sworn in its newly-elected executives with a call on members to forge a united front. Mr Samuel Yaw Adusei, Deputy Ashanti Regional Minister, said they should avoid anything that would create cracks and bring division. It was important to put the party ahead of individual ambition. He condemned the situation where some institutions have two parallel executives all fighting for the same cause, adding that this was not helpful to the groups overall image. Mr Adusei urged them to focus their energies on helping to grow the NDC - explaining government policies and telling its success story to people at the grassroots. This, he said, was necessary to help the people to appreciate achievements of government and broaden the partys support base to enhance its chances of winning the 2016 elections. Mr. Ibrahim Haruna, the newly-elected Chairman of the Network, pledged to work hard to make the TEIN vibrant, and urged the members to take active part in its activities. The other officers include Abdul Rahman, the Vice-President, Mr. Godwin Enbonzumah, Secretary, Mr. Franklin Aguri, Treasurer, Ms. Abibata Gomda, Womens Organizer, Mr. Pienaa Eric Sanba, Propaganda Secretary and Sampson Ayambilla, Organizer.
