Kwesi Appiah Admits Having a Big Headache To Name Final 23 For World Cup

The Black Stars coach has confessed facing difficulties in naming his final squad for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. Ghana coach, Kwesi Appiah says it will not be easy to drop the three players from his provisional squad ahead of the World Cup next month. The team has been in Arnhem, Holland since Sunday fine-tuning for the global showpiece. Appiah will drop three players from the provisional 26-man squad after the friendly match with the Dutch National team on Saturday night, before leaving for the USA for the final batch of preparations. Yesterday, I was having a chat with my assistant and told him that now we have got a big headache. The good thing is that the performances of all the players are really high, and even though its good for the team, we are having a big headache as to who to drop at the end of our tour of Holland, Appiah told Ghana FAs communication directorate. Kwesi Appiah went ahead to revel in the injury-free situation in camp. There are so many countries suffering from petty injuries but thank God there is nothing like that in our camp and all the players are doing well. The Black Stars will open their campaign on June 16 when they take on the USA IN Natal.
