I Havent Enstooled Ga Mantse

Nonagenarian Nii Agyemankese II, head of the Agyemankese Division of the Ga Paramount Stool, has emphatically denied reports that he has enstooled a Ga Manste. I have not enstooled a Ga Mantse and so anybody who claims to be one is doing so outside the traditional authority bestowed upon me. He disclosed this to DAILY GUIDE when he and a high-ranking team of Ga royals visited the offices of the paper last Tuesday. A Ga Mantse would be enstooled when peace returns to the Ga State. Nii Agyemankese is one of the few remaining WWII veterans. His position was corroborated by Nii Tetteh Kwei II, the Dzasetse, whose role in the enstoolment of the Ga Mantse, is crucial and necessary for the rituals to be completed. The Dzasetse, who prayed for peace in the Ga State, said Accra, being host to all the ethnic groups in the country, needs peace. We are a peaceful people and would remain as such, he said, adding that the Ga Mantse position is vacant and so anybody claiming to be one should be disregarded.
