MPs Assault Victim In Double Agony

Following the public thumping of the New Patriotic Partys Tema West Constituency Organizer by the partys MP for the area, the unfortunate guy has suffered double jeopardy. Reportedly, Hon. Arhin Young been given an indefinite suspension from the party, and that means he has ceased to be the partys Constituency Organizer for Tema West since last week. Following The Enquirers report of the incident, which narrates how Irene Naa Torshie Addo, the Tema West MP, boxed Mr. Youngs ears several times at a Guinness distribution point at Tema Community 5 called K. Boapong, Enquirer has heard that a meeting for the summary dismissal of Mr. Young was held at Tema Community 2 two Tuesdays ago. Arhin Youngs crime, we heard, was The Enquirers publication of the assault he suffered at the hands of the MP constituency elders of the MP, it has been revealed strongly believed that Mr. Young leaked the story to The Enquirer. Two Mondays ago in the afternoon, the Tema West MP, Naa Torshie Addo, turned a Guinness Distribution point called K. Boapong, in Tema Community 5, into a boxing ring, where she slapped Hon. Arhin Young in a fit of tantrum that was totally unbecoming of a Member of Parliament. The attack, which happened in the presence of NPP stalwart and former Mayor of Accra, Stanley Adjiri Blankson, is purported to have happened because Mr. Young had had the temerity to call at the Tema Community 2 residence of the late P.V. Obeng to mourn with his family. Naa Torshie Addo, who is said not to have taken kindly to the news of the Tema West NPP Constituency Organizers visitation, confronted him at the Guinness distribution point, where she followed a tirade with the physical attack. Eyewitnesses report that the MP boxed the Tema West Constituency Organizers ears several times, while all along, rhetorically asking him how he dared to visit the bereaved family of that NDC man. However, The Enquirer has since discovered that Naa Torshie Addos displeasure over the visitation of Mr. Young to the late P.V. Obengs family was just a cover story. Before his suspension, Arhin Youngs position as the NPPs Constituency Organizer for Tema West had come to him after the controversial disqualification of his predecessor, one Kwesi Poku, in the partys recent election of Constituency executives. That disqualification of Kwesi Poku had been masterminded by Naa Torshie Addo who had used all her influence to remove the former Constituency Organizer because she felt he (Kwesi Poku) was too close to the NDCs Samuel Ofosu Ampofo. Readers would recall that towards the end of last year, The Enquirer reported on how Naa Torshie Addo had placed a call to Naa Akufo-Addo, the partys Presidential candidate for 2012 who was then in London, to make sure that he used al his influence to disqualify Kwesi Poku. Unfortunately for Naa Torshie Addo, her hard work in the sabotage of Kwesi Poku did not bring her the needed peace of mind, because Arhin Young, whom she supported to become Constituency Organizer, turned out not to be malleable to her plan to commandeer the partys Parliamentary ticket for 2016. Mr. Arhin Young was reportedly in bed with one Carlos Ahenkorah, who also has his eyes firmly on the NPPs Parliamentary ticket for 2016. From the revelations that bubbled to the surface from investigations, Naa Torshie Addo had long meditated on the coming of an opportunity to teach Arhin young a lesson for choosing to hobnob with her rival, rather than licking her boots. It was not perfectly opportune, but useful, therefore, when Arhin young visited the late P.V. Obengs bereaved family to show then solidarity in their grief.
