The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has set December 6 for its National Delegates Congress to elect the Party�s Presidential Candidate for the 2016 General Election.
The party has therefore opened nominations for its presidential candidate and has approved a nomination fee of GH�10,000 and a filling fee of GH�75,000.
A statement signed by its General Secretary, Kwabena Agyepong, said the decision was arrived after a meeting held Friday at Alisa Hotel, Accra.
It also said potential aspirants may pick nomination forms at the party�s headquarters, Asylum Down, Accra.
According to the statement, further to Article 17 of the Party�s Constitution, a set of guidelines, rules and regulations for the Presidential Primaries was also approved.
