Is NPP Falling Apart? NPP MP Asks

A New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament (MP) has asked all leading members of the Party to bury their differences and stop it from falling apart. Against this advice, we have decided to withhold his name because he has underestimated the tension in the Party to reveal his identity and expect no recriminations. He said, as I speak to you now, the NPP is indebted to various companies to the tune of more than GH 2 million (check Prudential Bank and see). The Party cannot account for more than 150 pick-ups and cars because they are said to be with a holding company belonging to two leading members of the company. He also revealed that even though he does not support the candidate of Nana Akufo-Addo and Mr. Alan Kyerematen, he thinks that Nana Addo would win. The MP explained, I think the way and manner his supporters want to run everything down our throats to virtually allow Nana Akufo-Addo to go unopposed is very dangerous. Persons who are afraid to speak up for fear of being labeled anti-NPP will speak their minds on voting day; by not turning up to vote. This is how apathy sets in. We will publish in due course, the full interview.
