Lets Be Experts At Finding Solutions-Nduom

2012 flag-bearer of the Progressive Peoples Party (PPP,) Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom, has urged Ghanaians to begin learning to be experts in finding solutions and implementing them and leave behind their expertise and knowledge of the problems. Dr. Nduom posted these remarks on his Facebook wall. According to him, many Ghanaians have offered their views about what ails our economy as a result we all know about being a nation of import and sell; exporter of raw materials practically the same ones from the Gold Coast days with oil and gas now added; a weak currency; high debt burden; high unemployment; and fiscal deficits and others. He disclosed that in a few weeks time, he will proffer solutions to the problems the country faces when he delivers the PPPs Anniversary lecture. Dr. Nduom indicated the following as a preview of what he will discuss in more details in early August this year. These, he pointed out, include the following; developing the rural economy. I will [also] explain how we should do it including constitutional amendment to free up grassroots initiative;) an efficient, independent public service is a prerequisite; a single national identification is needed to bring the discipline needed to cast a strong foundation for prosperity. the use of the states purchasing power; an educated labour pool armed with technology; changes to the Pension Law and give a push for its aggressive implementation to build long-term funds for the private sector and a single purpose focus on delivering energy solutions immediate and long-term. Dr. Nduom further noted that he will talk about how we can open up the country with world class transportation infrastructure, involving Ghanaians in diaspora and applying practical, experienced, inclusive-thinking, incorruptible leadership.
