Information confirmed by peacefmonline.com indicates that fire has wiped out a family of five including a 9-month old baby in Kumasi. The incident as reported by Hello FM's Sampson Kwame Nyamekye occurred around 2am Monday, 23rd June 2014 at Trede, a suburb of Kumasi in the Ashanti Region. The Five: Daniel Baafi, husband; Yaa Adu, wife; thirteen year old boy, Wofa Yaw; Maame Yaa Kyerewaah, 10-year old daughter and nine-month baby, Paa Yaw; were all sleeping in their one bedroom apartment when the fire started. Unfortunately, when residents got to the scene, none of them could be rescued due to the intensity of the fire. ��we only saw the ashes of their bodies after the Ghana National Fire Service put out the fire�, an eyewitness remarked.
