We Dont Need Your Contract NDC Women Organizers Reject Kwabena Adjeis Offer

The ten Regional women Organizers and their deputies in the ruling National Democratic Congress have reportedly rejected GETFUND contract that was allegedly offered them by incumbent chairman Dr. Kwabena Adjei in exchange for their support in the upcoming NDC national delegates congress. The women organizers and their deputies numbering thirty were given the offer at a meeting held in the private residence of NDC General Secretary, Johnson Aseidu Nketia. The NDC national chairman, Dr. Adjei aka Wayo, who is seeking re-election is the board chairman for Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFUND). Getfund is responsible for most of the infrastructure development in the countrys tertiary and secondary institutions. A source at the said meeting who asked not to be named so as to speak freely on the matter, said the NDC Chairman Dr. Kwabena Adjei was not at the said meeting but his General Secretary communicated the offer to them on his behalf. Most of the women according to the source without hesitation rejected the offer with some saying we dont need any GETFUND contract. Someone is already taking care of us one of them was heard saying. The NDC chairman is struggling to reconnect with the party delegates after neglecting them for so many years. However, the personal Assistant to the NDC Chairman Kofi Asare dismissed the report. He said he is not aware of his boss offering Getfund contract to any women organizer for their support. It is not true my brother. Getfund is struggling to pay contractors who have worked for them, why would anyone want to offer more contract he asked.
