Video: Asamoah Boateng Sacked From Occupy Flagstaff House Demo

The former Member of Parliament for Mfantsiman West and flagbearer aspirant of the New Patriotic Party, Stephen Asamoah Boateng was Tuesday hooted out of a demonstration protesting economic hardships and poor governance in Ghana. He had arrived at the King Tackie Tawiah overpass where a section of the demonstrators had gathered after the police stopped them from congregating at their Afrikiko Restaurant randevouz, ostensibly to lend support, however the demonstrators won't have any of his pleas. "No politician, no politician, no politician," they chanted, as Asamoah Boateng, wearing a simple black suit tried unsuccessfully with a wave of the hand to get them to hear him. "Noooo, Asamoah Boateng go home, we don't want any politician to hijack our exercise. You politicians are all the same. Go home," screamed one of those protesting the former minister's presence. Unable to control the situation, Asamoah Boateng moved on to join a team of policemen who were positioned just in front of the Netherlands Embassy, and eventually found his way out.
