The Eastern Regional organizer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) party, Bismark Tawiah Boateng has today declared his intention to contest the chairmanship position of the party in the region. At a press briefing organized on behalf of the aspiring chairman, Friends of Tawiah Boateng (FTB) also announced officially their unflinching endorsement for Bismark Tawiah Boateng. According to the group he deserves it as they outline his achievements and contributions as a vibrant organizer of the party since 1991. They described him as a man of action. According to the leader of the group, Mr. Hackman Kabuari, Tawiah Boateng deserves the position due to his commitment and faithfulness. As part of his qualification, he has served for 14 years as the unprecedented party organizer in the region and has never backed out even in hard times. �In a nut shell he has the experience; he has a great deal of knowledge when it comes to local governance by making a significant contribution towards the development of the New Juabeng municipality. His footsteps can be traced at every where he finds himself. Therefore he is ready to serve and not for his own interest,� Hackman Kabuari said. He declared his intention today, on the occasion of his 50th birthday.
