Kyerematen Tours Accra With Message Of Hope

The race to elect a flagbearer for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is steadily gathering momentum, with Ghanas former Ambassador to the United States and Minister of Trade and Industry, Mr Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen, one of the presidential hopefuls, touring the Greater Accra Region with his message of hope to party supporters. Accompanied by some leading members of the NPP, including Mr Kofi Dzamesi, a former Volta Regional Minister; Nana Ohene Ntow, a former General Secretary; and Dr Heka Benson, a former Upper West Regional Minister, Mr Kyerematen insisted that the NPP seriously needs to consider and remunerate party faithful who are willing to work full-time for the party. The aspirant, popularly referred to as Alan Cash, declared, The party must be in a position to care for its hardworking party people. This is non negotiable! Mr Kyerematen has, for the past month, been speaking to party delegates with a clear and simple message of strengthening the grass roots and the message seems to be resonating quite well with the party supporters. In the view of the trade expert, who is also a business consultant, lawyer and economist, the party could not afford to lose the 2016 general election, for which reason it needed to be well-resourced and better organised at the grass roots for victory in 2016. During his tour of parts of the region, a delegate could not hide her emotions as she exclaimed, God bless you, Alan Cash, for thinking about us the party people. She recounted to the aspirant the difficulties she went through as a polling station womens organiser in doing her work for the party without any source of income. She also lauded Mr Kyerematen for his good thoughts of polling station executives. Your very humble and calm nature will make the difference to enable us to win power in the general election, the woman said.
