Ghanaians Must Rededicate Themselves To Patriotism NDC

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has urged Ghanaians to use the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr to rededicate themselves to patriotism and commitment to contribute their quota towards the development of the nation in all spheres of endeavour. In line with this, the party asked the Ghanaian society to join Muslims to give thanks to Almighty Allah for his abundant blessing and guidance. In a statement signed by Mr Johnson Asiedu Nketia, the General Secretary, NDC the party extended its warmest felicitation to all Muslims as they end the Ramadan. According to the NDC, the Ramadan, which ended last Monday, was one of the difficult times of fasting and prayers not only for Muslims but also for the socio-economic and political development of Mother Ghana. In the view of the NDC, Muslims went through spiritual cleansing and purity during which they asked for Gods blessing, favour and kindness for mankind. We, the NDC, have always believed that your continuous prayers and fasting have contributed to the harmonious co-existence which has become the bedrock of peace and tranquillity, stability and development in the country, it stated, and congratulated the Muslim community on the occasion of Eid-Ul-Fitr.
