A LINGUIST at Kenyasi Number Two in the Brong Ahafo Region, Nana Yaw Seth, has been arrested by the police for allegedly sodomising a 17 year old Junior High School student. Speaking in an interview with The Chronicle, the victim (name withheld) alleged that he went out around 10:00 p.m.to buy fried egg and met Nana Yaw Seth on the way. According to the victim, the Chief Linguist asked him to accompany him (Nana) to a spot nearby to buy a drink for him, to which he obliged. At the Spot, Nana Yaw Seth bought a Malt drink for him, which he drank. According to the victim, after taking the drink, he dosed off, only to wake up later to see the Linguist playing with his penis. His pants, which the Linguist had removed, were also wet with semen. According to the victim, when the Linguist realised that he had become conscious, the suspected gay man offered him GH�2, with a plea for him to accompany him (linguist) to the house to have sex. He rejected the offer, and rather went home to inform his brother about what had happened to him. Together with the brother, they went to the house of the Linguist that the same night, only to see the suspect having romance with another man in his room. This time, the Linguist offered his first victim and his brother GH�50 to keep quiet, but they refused and made noise for the neighbours to know what was happening. The following the day they went and reported the case to the police. The victim further told The Chronicle that he was now experiencing severe pains in his penis and abdomen. The District Police Commander for Asutifi, ASP Franklin Kramo, confirmed the story when contacted, and said the Linguist had been placed in custody whilst investigations into the case continued.
