NPP Activist Was Beaten By Belt Wielding Women And I Saved Him From Lynching - Kofi Jumah

Maxwell Kofi Jumah, has denied allegations of meting out instant justice to a popular New Patriotic Party (NPP) activist. According to him, Jamal Agha was very lucky to have been beaten by belt wielding women instead of the mob outside his house waiting to lynch him. Narrating his side of the story on Okay FMs Ade Akye Abia the former Asokwa Law Maker stated that Jamal has the nerves to go about on radio making all sorts of accusations, when I saved him from being lynched. When I meet him, I will slap him. He can say all that because he was beaten by women, with belts and not macho men as he claims. That is why he still has the strength to talk after stealing. The obviously angry Kofi Jumah, who was also a Former Metropolitan Chief Executive (MCE) of Kumasi, further made emphatic statements to the effect that Jamal Agha stole a mobile phone belonging to his nephew in the lead up to the one week celebrations of the death of his mother. On his word, he restrained the angry crowd which had gathered outside his residence in Kumasi from venting their spleen on Jamal Agha because he later realized he is the son of an acquaintance. ..His Antie even said he is a questionable character and did not sound surprise Jamal was being accused of stealing a mobile phone, he disclosed. He however, dismissed claims that he ordered thugs to attack Jamal but was beaten by belt wielding women whiles he was calming down the angry mob outside his house. Though he admitted being questioned by the Kumasi Central Police, he was quick to state it was an invitation which he honored out of respect for the Police Service.
