Mauritanian Snubs Milo

Former Ghana trainer, Milovan Rajevac has been snubbed in his bid to land the head coaching job for Mauritania. Information gathered by GNA Sports indicates that the Serbian who was included in a shortlist of four to coach the Mauritania national team did not make the cut. A source told GNA Sports that the coach who also applied for the Black Stars job was among the four shortlisted by the Executive Committee of the Football Federation of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania (FFRIM). Former French midfielder, Corentin Martins beat competition from Rajevac, Sebastien Lechantre and Pierre Lechantre, who guided Cameroon to the 2000 African Cup of Nations glory to become the new coach of Mauritania. Martins replaces former trainer, Patrice Neveu who was shown the exit following Mauritania�s inability to go past Uganda in the preliminary rounds of the 2015 African Nations Cup qualifiers. Rejavac took Ghana to the finals of the Angola 2010 Africa Cup of Nations before finishing as quarter finalist at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa later that year
