The Dumor Family has announced a seven - member Board of Trustees for the Komla Dumor (memorial) Foundation. The Komla Dumor Memorial Foundation is established to promote and sustain the legacy of Komla Dumor, the inspiring and immeasurable Ghanaian /African broadcast journalist, who until his sudden death was the Presenter of the BBC flagship television program Focus on Africa. Komla Dumor passed away on the 18th of January 2014. The members of the Board of Trustees are; Dr (Mrs.) Mary Chinery Hesse: a retired Ghanaian International Diplomat and currently a member of the African Union Panel of the WISE, is the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees. Sir Sam Jonah a frontline African Entrepreneur and Businessman. He is the Chairman of the South African-based company, Jonah Capital. Dr Joyce Aryee: a leading Communication Expert, Founder and CEO of Salt and Light Ministries evangelistic organization. Dr. Korshie Dumor: a Physician / internist currently working with the Mercy Hospital System in the United States of America. Ms Kiki Gbeho: Chief of Africa1 East and Southern Africa Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) United Nations New York. Mr. Akwasi Sarpong (Representing BBC): a broadcast journalist with the African Service in London. Mr. Roland Akosah: a Business Strategist, Founder/ CEO of ENO International (Representing Multi Media Group).
