Economic activities in Tamale have hit a crescendo ahead of Ghana�s 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Guinea on Wednesday. The few entertainment centers in the Tamale environs were packed throughout Tuesday night with the frequent intake of beer and guinea fowl. Popular guinea fowl kebab maker in Tamale Mbayaya has had to increase his stock to cater for the surging demand. There is even a shortage in airtime vouchers in Tamale with an unprecedented demand. Local business owners are set for a big pay day with stands also being erected around the stadium to provide a variety of services for Ghana�s clash against Guinea. This shows clearly the power football has to affect the various sectors of society � key amongst them being the economy. The Black Stars presence in Tamale has buoyed the mood in and around the township with many eagerly awaiting this evening�s match. The team have enjoyed massive support from the locals since their arrival in Tamale on Monday afternoon. Ghana will strengthen its lead at the top of Group E with an expected win over Guinea on Wednesday.
