Report: Avram Grant Wants $150,000 Monthly As Black Stars coach

Former Chelsea coach Avram Grant will receive a whooping $150,000 as salary if he is appointed as the next Black Stars coach. The vacant Black Stars job now has three coaches now shortlisted for the interview starting today ( Friday ) after Dutch international Patrick Kluivert, Italian Marco and Bernard Schuster have all denied showing interest. The three aspirants has Michel Pont, assistant coach for Switzerland at this year�s World Cup, Spanish coach Juan Ignacio Mart�nez and Avram Grant all gunning for the vacant Job. Avram Grant, who last month was appointed technical director at Thailand club BEC-Tero Sasana, was head coach of Chelsea in the 2007/08 season when he took them to the runner-up position in both the Premier League and UEFA Champions League. He later on went to manage Portsmouth and West Ham United, and Serbian side Partizan Belgrade, who he led to the domestic league title before resigning in May 2012. The experienced hand will resign from the Thailand club if the Government of Ghana can match his $150,000 demand alongside other fringe benefits is said to be in Ghana over the weekend. His wage demands could discourage the FA and shore up the prospects of the two remaining coaches; Michel Pont and Juan Ignacio Mart�ne who have with lesser demands One of the two will be more likely to be named as the next Black Stars Coach.
