Assin Fosu Residents Threaten To Kidnap ECG Boss

An angry Pastor has joined other residents of Assin Fosu to call for the kidnap of the ECG Manager for Assin Fosu Station, Mr. Ebenezer Kwao Sam in protest against what they describe as unacceptable dumsor schedule in the district. Pastor Kwaku Egan, of the Greater Love Ministry described the situation as so worrying that the people have no choice but to publicly protest about the treatment being meted out to them. They have warned that if the dumsor schedule does not change in the next few weeks, they will be forced to carry out their threat of kidnapping the ECG district Manager. Narrating their frustrations to Alfred Amo of Splash FM, an affiliate station of Adom FM in Assin Fosu, a number of residents agreed with the pastor and called for clarity and fairness in the implementation of the load shedding schedule. Traders and domestic power users in different parts of country have also expressed frustration over the rampant load shedding. But in a sharp rebuttal the ECG Manager for Assin Fosu Station B, Mr. Ebenezer Kwao Sam has denied claims by the residents that the power distributer has been monkeying around with the load shedding schedule. He explains that the current schedule is part of the national schedule and the station at Assin Fosu is only working according to rule.
