Asamoah Gyan Doubtful For Uganda/Togo AFCON Qualifiers

Ghana skipper Asamoah Gyan is expected to be out for at least nine weeks, contrary to earlier reports that the Al Ain star will sit out for just a week. Ghanasportsonline.com can exclusively report that the all time Ghana top goal scorer has been told by the medics at the UAE based side that he might be out for a period of nine weeks. Contrary to earlier reports that the 28-year-old had suffered a knee injury, Ghanasportsonline.com can confirm that Gyan rather picked up thigh injury in Al Ains 3-1 win over Al Dhafra last Friday in the UAE top flight. The lethal striker is however expected to miss out on Ghana's two crucial Afcon qualifiers between Togo in Tamale and Uganda in Kampala. Gyan has scored 3 of Ghana's 7 goals in the Afcon 2015 Qualifiers so far.
