I Dress To Inpsire My Players - Kotoko Coach

Asante Kotoko coach, Mas-Ud Dramani, says he carefully selects what he wears on match days to impress and inspire his players. Dramani is considered one of the best dressed coaches in the Ghanaian premier league. Coaches all around the world have developed the culture of looking very sharp on the touchlines.Coaches especially in Europe have adopted wearing expensive suits with sharp shirts and shoes to match in most cases for marketing purposes. This trend is however in direct contrast of what pertains in Africa especially in tropic areas where the hot weather serves as a perfect excuse for coaches to give away their trendiness on the touchlines. Coaches in especially Ghana sometimes look like clowns with their dressing on matchdays much that it is sometimes an eyesore for the cameras to zoom in on them. Former Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko coaches CK Akunnor and Maxwell Konadu respectively also came with their style of wearing nice shirts with tie. The ex Ghana national team coach reveals he is always mindful of how he appears on matchdays to give his side a psychological urge over their opponents. I take time to select [my clothes], he told MTNFootball. Your players need to see you dressed very well on the touchline and that has been my inspiration. When you always appear well it even has the tendency to boost the performance of your team. It is a psychological thing, he said.
