A concerned Ghanaian has lashed out angrily at the government�s decision to consider hosting the AFCON 2015 tournament in the event that Morocco � the original host � pulls out. Morocco has urged CAF to postpone the tournament out of fear that the Ebola virus disease � which is currently ravaging Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea - will spread to the North African country if the competition goes ahead. CAF has however rejected the call and reached out to some countries, including Ghana, to stand by to host the tournament should Morocco decide not to host it. The Ministry of Sports announced Friday that Ghana had the necessary logistics in place to host the tournament and that the government was awaiting clearance from the Ghana Health Service as to whether the country should host the tournament. The decision has however angered several Ghanaians, who think Ghana should not entertain the idea of hosting the tournament. A concerned Ghanaian told graphiconline that agreeing to host the tournament would be a great mistake. The man, who declined to be named, said Ghana should concentrate on fixing its ailing economy instead of hosting AFCON 2015. According to him, even the IMF � which Ghana is courting for a bailout � will view the country as stupid if she goes ahead to host the tournament.
