Kobby Out with I Love You

Since the split of the Wutah group in 2010, Kobby has found ways to keep himself relevant on the music scene. It appears the Chiochio singer wants to get himself abreast of the prevailing momentum on the music scene and he has done so with his recent releases. It is therefore not a surprise that just two months after launching his second album, he is out with a new song titled I Love You. The song, released last week, was produced by Riddim Boss and it reveals the serious mind of Kobby to take his craft a notch higher. Described by Kobby himself as a taste of African rhythm, I Love You employs the guitar to produce interesting African rhythms such as Kete and Agbadza. Kobby told Showbiz on Monday that, Its always important to rekindle our love for our partners and as an African and first of all a Ghanaian, I have found the need to celebrate love in the African way. This is the reason I employed traditional rhythms to express my love as an African man . Kobby who sings a lot more these days is no different on I Love You as he sings about how his woman is one in a million and worth more than a zillion. After a successful album listening at the +233, many people have come to appreciate me more as a solo artiste. Recently, my songs also get a lot of airplay but my wish is to get more gigs to entertain my fans and expand my music territory, he said. Real name, Daniel Morris, Kobbys catchy baritone raga delivery was one of the identification marks of Wutah. He told Showbiz that he is happy he is still moving strong after the break up of the Wutah group. On September 6, he launched his second album titled God and Love. His first collection of songs as a solo artiste, Selfless Bliss, came out in 2012.
