A fake pastor together with his four accomplices are being held by the Odorkor police for performing fake miracles at Power Explosion Chapel yesterday at Tabora Alhaji, a suburb of Accra.
The 'pastor,' Jonas Abedi, and his accomplices staged fake miracles during the church's evening service on Tuesday, making a lot of money in the process.
Narrating the incident on Adom FM�s Dwaso Nsem Wednesday, a chairman of the church, Ernest Nyarko said his suspicions were aroused when a woman who came to the church during the miracle session alleged she was crippled but was 'miraculously' healed.
�I suspected something and the pastor started the miracle session and so after church service, I monitored them and later realized that they were actually doing that to extort money from people� he noted.
He then organised some members of the congregation to effect their arrest.
