Castro And Fennec Okyere: Are They History Now?

For four months now, its been very difficult to say if Castro is indeed dead, feared dead, kidnapped or missing.

When the news first broke out about Castros unfortunate situation, the general public expressed so much concern and gave suggestions on how the issue should be handled and most importantly, steps that should be taken to ensure that Castro is found alive.

So many of his colleagues and friends expressed their sadness and shock at the turn of events on radio and other platforms. I quite remember Akoo Nana was on peace FMS Entertainment Review saying that Castro may have been kidnapped and met Arnold Asamoah Baidoo with so much anger when Arnold accused him of trying to gain popularity through Castros unfortunate situation.

Unknown pastors and prophets suddenly became famous because they all noted that they could help in finding the whereabouts of Castro. There was a prophet at Spintex who even mentioned that Castro had been kidnapped and that if the Kidnappers do not release Castro, he would make certain revelations which would throw the country into a state of shock. After so many months, Castro is yet to be found but this prophet has not made any revelation.

Journalists all over the country and especially entertainment journalists had Castros issues as the main story that graced the front pages of their newspapers and had Castros issues directing so much traffic to their websites and much more. Entertainment discussions shows on radio constantly discussed Castros issue all in a bid to ensure that Castro is found either dead or alive.

The Gyan brothers together with the Marine Police tried their best to find Castro but what do you see today? Where is Asamoah Gyan? I guess you know what transpired at the press conference organized by the Gyan brothers?

I must emphasize that Castros issue was the main issue that was discussed for quite some time but unfortunately, all stakeholders who were so eager and anxious to have the mystery of Castros disappearance sorted out, all seemed to have totally forgotten about the issue. In recent times, the issue about Castros disappearance is no more of essence and everyone is going about his other activities as if Castro never existed.

Quite unfortunately, most artistes who had featured Castro on some tracks are busily promoting those tracks all in a bid to get more shows. Is it not so heartbreaking that eh same artistes who seemed to have been hit hard by Castros unfortunate issue are the same people who have easily forgotten about their colleague?

The same can be said of Kwaw Keses manager who was killed in cold blood. In as much as Bulldog had been accused of having a hand I Fenechs death, all of a sudden, no one seems to care about the outcome of the case. Almost all of the entertainment discussion platforms that were so vociferous have all gone to bed. Kwaw Kese has even gone ahead to appoint a new manager.

For me, its quite unfortunate and disappointing that the media has totally forgotten or a put a blind eye to Castro and Fenechs issues. I am very surprised at this current turn of events because considering the passion attached to these issues initially; I never expected that Ghanaians would forget about Castro and Fenech so quickly and easily.

I cant say much more now but I pray that the muster surrounding Castros disappearance would be uncovered anytime soon and possibly, anyone or persons who are found to be culpable would be dealt with by the laws of the country. I also wish that eh killer of Fenech would be found out as Bulldog has always said that he did not kill Fenech.
