Bubbly and eloquent TV presenter, Berla Mundi, has no doubt caught the eyes of many male admirers for her good looks but the pretty hostess of Rhythmz on Gh One who is currently single, has disclosed her preferred �vital statistics� of her kind of man.
For the Single, Married and Complicated actress, these �vital stats� should be a guide to any man who wants to �hook� her up. �I love good looking men. It is the first thing I look out for in my men. I�m so obsessed about guys with great looks that my friends think I�m crazy. But that is me; I have taste for good things.
�I don�t mind if the guy is not tall. All I want is a physically appealing man who knows how to dress well. That is enough to get me on board his love train,� she confessed to Showbiz in an interview on Tuesday. Berla, who has been rumoured in the past to be in a relationship with her former co-host of the Rhythmz, Black Boy, and actor, John Dumelo, said that even though good looks is paramount on her �choice list� other qualities also come to play.
�Yes, but he must not attract me with just his looks. He should also prove to me that he is an ambitious person. He should have the passion to be successful. That would be a plus for him since the competition is keen now,� she said amidst laughter. February of next year will mark Berla�s two years anniversary for her first appearance on set as a TV Presenter on Buzz but the former Miss Malaika finalist is basking in a lot of popularity as host of Rhythmz. She, however, described her rise as �stormy and rough�.
�It�s not been an easy journey to get here. I remember my first day on set when I hosted the Buzz. It was really tough for me but with determination and the passion I had for TV presenting, I have come this far. �In less than two years, I�ve had the opportunity to host the red carpet at the AMAA�s this year. I don�t think that I have arrived because this is just the beginning,� she stated.
When asked if she ever had a thing for Y FM�s presenter, Black Boy, she giggled and remarked, �No, not at all. Yes, he has good looks alright but he was just a colleague. Whatever viewers saw on set was just a professional relationship. I like him and I know he likes me too but there are no strings attached�.
Real name, Berla Addardey, Berla is a Psychology and Linguistics graduate of the University of Ghana and the last born of three children. She confessed to Showbiz that she has had many hit-ons from male friends in the Entertainment industry but wouldn�t want to date any of them.
�I like to keep my private life out of the public eye. I can�t afford to have my relationship in the news every day because my guy and I are known. I don�t want any popular person. I want someone who is making it big in his small corner out there� she said.
For now, Berla who had a stint in acting when featured in Yvonne Nelson�s Single, Married and complicated said that she hopes to be a movie producer in future. �I thank my colleagues at Gh One for the support and my fans and followers on social media for the criticisms that have helped to shape me,� she stated.
