His comedy films have broken box office records and his stand-up shows constantly sell out, so it wasn't a big surprise when Kevin Hart was named Comedy Star of the Year at the PEOPLE Magazine Awards on Thursday.
"My mom put my work ethic in me," said the Real Husbands of Hollywood star. "I also want to thank God but that goes without saying."
