Re: Aliu Mahamas Son Releases Song To Attack President Mahama

My attention has been drawn to a malicious publication on an online news outlet that is been circulated on the various social media platforms with the caption ALIU MAHAMASS SON RELEASE SONG TO ATTACK PRESIDENT MAHAMA I write to state unequivocally that: a. I am neither a musician nor a composer. b. I have neither contributed in writing nor otherwise to the making of any such song. c. I have no knowledge about the said song which is being attributed to me. d. I have not released or intend to release any song to undermine President John Mahama, any other person or group. e. I do not have any association with Xcess Media and neither do I own it. I consider this a mischievous and an ill intended prank directed to invite public hatred against my person and that of my family. It is condemnable, distasteful and disgraceful. Whilst I write to distance myself from such publication, I request the indulgence of the public to treat this fabricated story with the contempt that it deserves, as I pursue legal advice to bring a final closure to this matter and also to safeguard the reputation of my family. ...signed... Farouk Mahama (Son of the Late former Vice-President of Ghana)
