The General Secretary of the People�s National Convention (PNC), Bernard Mornah has asked IMANI Boss, Franklin Cudjoe to go to court if he wants to and stop issuing threats. �Who threatens who to go to court? It is only cowards that will make a threat; because if you want to go to court, you only get your lawyers and move to court. I have been to court on a number of occasions; you don�t come threatening the person that you want to go to court�� Bernard Mornah said. Franklin Cudjoe has threatened to expose the Controller and Accountant General�s Department over an incriminating document he has intercepted about the country�s payroll system. He said the intercepted document showed that the country lost huge sums of money through the system in a manner, which was �orchestrated and well planned. According to him, the report which has some staggering revelations is from an international firm, which audited the payroll system. Speaking to the issue in a panel discussion on Radio Gold�s Alhaji and Alhaji, Bernard Mornah said even though Franklin Cudjoe�s purpose is good, it is not right to threaten anybody before going to court; �you gather your facts, get your lawyers and go to court� �This issue (Payroll fraud) according to Bernard Mornah, transcends government and politics�if we think that we need to implement the outcome of the auditor general�s report, and that the recommendations in the auditor general�s report are so damning that we cannot allow those who caused the mess in the nation to be allowed to walk free, let�s go to court to compel the auditor general to act according to the law. Why must there be any threat? Why must you be pointing fingers before you go to court? To show what; to show muscle?� he queried and added �when I think that something is wrong, I court to court. I don�t threaten anybody. I get my lawyers; and the court will determine whether what I am saying is true or not. It is this pompous posturing that you have seen something gargantuan and if you don�t threaten, then you cannot do it? Go to court and let those who are to respond come to court and respond to them�
