Don't Politicize The Recent Police Enlistment Scandal - Kyeremateng Agyarko

Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wougon, Emmanuel Kyeremateng Agyarko has called on leaders in the country to depoliticize the recent Police enlistment scandal.

Speaking on "Kokrokoo" on Peace FM, Hon. Kyeremateng Agyarko admonished politicians and critics in the country to allow the State institutions to conduct their own independent investigations devoid of any political influence.

Reacting to the Police scandal and the interdiction of COP Patrick Timbilla, Hon. Kyeremateng Agyarko expressed no worry that the Police Administration itself wants to investigate the issue to bring the culprits to justice.

According to him, the nation's leaders should not interfere with State institutions in matters as the recent rot at the Ghana Police Service.

“If we create this atmosphere and aura, it will become worse. It will get out of hand completely. I think this issue that has cropped up (going forward); we will all admit that we must allow the State institutions to work.”
