Afia Schwarzenegger Resigns From Happy FM...As She Heads To Kasapa FM

Happy FM drive time hostess Valentina Nana Agyeiwaa, popularly known as Afia Schwarzenegger has reportedly resigned from Happy FM owned by Global Media Alliance.

According enewsgh.com, the controversial presenter is joining Kasapa 102.3 FM, formerly operated as Choice FM now owned by EIB Networks.

Peacefmonline.com is reliably informed that Afia will be host the midmorning show from 9am to 1pm on the new station which would broadcast predominately in Twi.

According to sources the station will begin official test transmission next week with nonstop music and a lot more big names are expected to join the new family from other radio stations including known Twi newscasters and presenters.

Deep throat source within the EIB Networks have hinted Peacefmonline.com that Afia was poached with very juicy contract which includes a brand new 4X4 car, and a mouthwatering cash amount.

Afia has corroborated this on her facebook wall saying “ Yes it is true ...I resigned from happy Fm and am heading straight to Kasapa fm Big things this year#my year of tear rubbers”, posted this on Wednesday March 4, 2015. Afia joined Happy FM in 2012 after she left Hitz FM.

EIB is bent on building a solid on-air portfolio that should put them in the top leagues of local media ownership.

The group, which has broadcaster Nathaniel Kwabena Anokye Adisi (Bola Ray) as its CEO, operates Starr FM and LIVE FM in Accra, Ultimate FM in Kumasi, Empire FM (Takoradi), Agoo FM (Nkawkaw), and HI FM (Koforidua), as well as the Daily Heritage newspaper.
