Woyome's Acquittal: It's A Gargantuan Scheme To Steal Our Money - John Boadu

John Boadu, National Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has described Woyome's acquittal as a grand plot by the Government of Ghana to embezzle State coffers.

Speaking on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo", John Boadu stressed that the State Attorney adopted a lackadaisical approach in prosecuting self-acclaimed NDC financier Alfred Agbesi Woyome.

According to him, the State Attorney didn't show an iota of seriousness to retrieve 51.2 million worth of judgement debt that was paid to Mr. Woyome.

To John Boadu, the Attorney General Marietta Brew-Oppong's appeal notice to Mr. Woyome is nothing but a mere "scheme to delay and buy time".

In the process of going to court, the government didn’t show any seriousness at all. The judge said the lackadaisical attitude of State Prosecutor was shocking, was amazing…It was a grand scheme…a scam…a gargantuan scheme to steal our money," he stated.
