Kotoko Board Member Claims Club's Own Fans Have Planted Evil Spirit At Baba Yara Stadium

Kumasi Asante Kotoko National Circles Council Chairman, Kwaku Amponsah has alledged that a section of the club's own fans have been working spiritually against the team this season with revelations that their Baba Yara home venue has been blighted, thus resulting in the ill-fated home results.

The leader of the club's largest supporting wing says an equal MASSIVE spiritual exercise by his unit has discovered that some indignant fans within the club have spiritually plotted the downfall of the club, resulting in a series of unimpressive results especially at the Baba Yara stadium

The leader of the supporters front, who also serves on the highest decision making body of the club, the board, says they have consulted several spiritualists and the revelations have been damning.

The leadership have been told that some section of the fans have planted evil spirits at the Baba Yara stadium, and insists that they are making spiritual arrangements to cleanse the field and fight against the callous.

“When we go to away we play very well but when we play home it is something else, we have been told by mallams, pastors and others that people within us are the cause of these,” Kwaku Amponsah told Kumasi based Fox FM in an extensive interview.

“They are our own supporters who are working against us and I tell you, we will expose all of them, they will see what will happen to them," he added.

Asante Kotoko have picked just one win after five premier league games at the Baba Yara Stadium this season and the club welcomes Algerian side MC Eulma of Algerian for the 2nd leg of the CAF Champions League in Kumasi.
