NPPs Pro-feminine Agenda And Date For The Primaries A Good Decision STUNNAD

Students Network For Nana Addo (STUNNAD) in a statement has extended their heartfelt congratulations to the National Executive Council (NEC) of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) on its agenda to make more women participate in politics.

According to the Pressure Group, the date set for the Parliamentary Primaries is a good decision by the NEC, showing the party’s readiness to rescue power from the incompetent Mahama-led administration.

In their statement, the early Parliamentary Congress will prepare the NPP massively towards the 2016 general elections as it is their hope that the electorates will handle power to NPP in 2016 to fix Ghana’s economic crises with pragmatic measures, competent team and with the help of God.

The group however stated their stern support for the pro-feminine agenda to allow only females to contest a female sitting MP.

Below Is The Full Statement of STUNNAD:

STUNNAD wish to extend our heartfelt congratulations to the entire National Executive Council (NEC) of our great party, NPP for their decision in choosing 24th May, 2015 as the date set for our parliamentary primaries. We once again wish to congratulate Chairman Paul Afoko and his able team members for making it possible the party holds an early parliamentary congress to prepare massively towards 2016 general elections. This depicts that NPP is ever ready to rescue power from this incompetent Mahama-led administration and if given the chance again by the electorates come 2016, will fix Ghana’s economic crises with pragmatic measures, competent team and with the help of God.

We also wish to congratulate the regional chairmen and constituency executives for their support and contributions in arriving at this decision. We hope to use this primaries to kick start our fight against our opponents come 2016 election of which, still 'The battle is the Lord's'.

We wish to state categorically without any waves of doubt that STUNNAD supports the pro- feminine agenda- “that only females will be allowed to contest a female sitting MP”. We are for it all. We are calling on the rank and file of NPP and Ghanaians in general to support the decision of NEC, and to remain united and work towards getting the NDC voted out of power for a better and more purposeful government from NPP, since Ghanaians are waiting anxiously for Nana Addo’s presidency to liberate them from the current economic hardships, incompetence and corrupt NDC, Mahama and Amissah -Arthur government.

As a great party known for implementing good social intervention policies, we wish to encourage all who believe in the cause of Nana Akufo-Addo to become the next President of the Republic of Ghana, to work hard in all aspects pertaining to this agenda to ensure that he succeeds.

Finally, we will like to express our profound gratitude to Ghanaian voters for believing in the ideologies of our mother party NPP and Nana Akufo-Addo as our next President of the Republic of Ghana come 2016, Ishah Allah.
