Unity Is Master Key Armah

Mr Sampson Abbey Armah, Awutu-Senya District Chief Executive, has urged people in the district to unite, for accelerated development.

He advised  them to eschew political differences, and unite for the quick realization of their developmental goals.

Mr Armah made the call when he addressed market women at Awutu-Bontrase, after leading workers to start work on a new 1.1-million-cedi “all weather” market for the town.

According to Mr Armah, a similar project would be constructed for the people of Senya-Bereku.

He said if the people come together and provide the necessary moral and spiritual support, the District Assembly and the Central Government can do much to better their lot.

He told the traders to desist from continuing to harbour their political differences so as to help achieve the objectives of the Assembly for the two traditional set-ups constituting the Awutu/Senya Administrative District.

Mr Armah recalled the theme for this year’s Independence Anniversary: “Achieving Transformation through National Unity,” saying  it clearly underscores the age-old adage which says that, “together we stand, divided we fall.”

“I think that individually and collectively what we have been thinking of seriously all the time, is to leave a lasting and appreciable legacy which would benefit future generations and not issues that would tear them apart and destroy the district and the nation,“ Mr Armah said.

He charged traders in and outside the district to pray hard for the speedy completion of the project to enhance their businesses.
