Victory Bible Church International [VBCI] To Establish Its Own University

As part of their five year development plan named “Chazon 2020”, Victory Bible Church International Ghana is set to establish its own university at Dodowa.

The Chazon 2020 will see the church operate under province, sectors, areas, districts and sanctuaries after acquiring an eight-hundred plots of land at Dodowa to begin its university construction as well as retreat centre for camp meetings, a clinic and a Bible and leadership school.

All these will be done with the mindset of working towards achieving the mandate of VBCI, thus, “Raising the Foundation of Many Generation”.

These projects was made known when the church launched its 30th anniversary in Accra over the weekend.

Speaking at the launch, the Presiding Bishop of the church, Bishop Nii Tackie-Yarboi urged government to adopt a comprehensive non-partisan national development policy.

He explained that, in nation development, there should be non-partisan policy that will run through all incumbent government so as to see the betterment of the state.

He however called on government to with immediate effect address issue concerning the state that has left many in adversity.

“The power crisis is affecting businesses, education, health and churches irrespective of the political party one belongs so I challenge the president and his team to talk less and fix the problem as promised in his 2015 State of the Nation Address” he stated

Bishop Tackie-Yarboi said the church will continue to pray for President Mahama for God’s guidance, protection and good health to deliver on his promise.

He however cautioned his fellow clergymen to refrain from active politics.

The anniversary themed “Celebration” is schedule in June. “For us, 30 years is a good time to celebrate and thank God for how far he has brought us as a church”.

VBCI’s social responsibility is focused on assisting needy but brilliant ones to go to school through its scholarship scheme.

The scheme has awarded scholarship to more than two hundred second cycle and tertiary student.
