The Gov't is Rushing to take Decisions

In an answer to accusation by the current NDC government that he has left behind a bad economy and mismanaged the affairs of state, former President John A. Kufuor has dismissed the allegations and criticized the government for what he called a rush in decision making. He said: they are rushing in their decision making. According to him, he left a transparent and united government, but there is hypocrisy on the part of some politicians and the media who always want to make noise for their voice to be heard by accusing others of corruption, without any credible evidence. Ex-Presdient Kufuor was speaking in an interview he granted to one of our sister-radio stations, to comment on certain actions of the present government and respond to accusations levelled against his previous government, by the current administration. Answering questions on development, the former President revealed that Human Resource Development was his topmost priority. That is why he took steps to create more jobs for the youth, establish training sectors for them. The former President also used the occasion to dismiss the allegations that he imposed his decisions on his party (NPP) stating, let me make it clear, I have never imposed my decisions on the party. I will not do that and it will not even be easy for me to do that, because we have national executives he concluded.
