The victim of the robbery suspects that the deceased robber was accidentally hit by one of the two bullets they (robbers) fired to scare people off, while they were running out of the community.

Police found an AK 47 assault rifle with 32 rounds of live ammunitions by the dead body, an unregistered motorbike which he might have gone for the operation with was also found a distance away from the body, as well as two empty bullet shells believed to be the two warning shots fired by the robbers.

The Upper East Regional Crime Officer, Superintendent Alex Frimpong in an interview, expressed some excitement over the retrieval of the AK47 from the public.
