Arthur Kennedy Is Using Some NPP Officials To Wage War Against Nana Akufo-Addo - Dr. Amoako Baah

Dr. Amoako Baah, Head of Political Science Department of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology has hinted on the NPP executives not to feel Dr. Arthur Kennedy’s article to attack their Flagbearer, Nana Addo is a demonstration of his support for them.

According to him, those NPP executives who think the 2008 Communication Director of Nana Addo is on their side and speaking for them should come again because he [Arthur Kennedy] is only using them as conduit to wage his own war against their Flagbearer, Nana Akufo-Addo.

Speaking on Okay FM’s "Ade Akye Abia" Morning Show, Dr. Amoako Baah said everything the one-time NPP Presidential hopeful has said about Nana Akufo-Addo is not true; thus everything he is saying about the party’s leader is dividing more than uniting them.

He underscored that Dr. Arthur Kennedy is the cancer of the NPP which is spreading to destroy the party; stressing that “he doesn’t want the good of Akufo-Addo and he doesn’t want the good of the party”.

“I’m telling the party officials, those of you who think Arthur Kennedy is on your side and speaking for you, he rather is using you to wage his own war against Nana Akufo-Addo,” he asserted.

He however reminded Kwabena Agyapong, NPP General Secretary to realize that every comment he makes against his flagbearer will have ripple effect on the party because 95 percent of the party members endorsed Nana Addo despite his three attempts as a flagbearer.

“Kwabena Agyapong is speaking against the party he purports to support and wish well because if you speaking against Akufo-Addo, you have spoken against 95 percent of the party members who endorsed him to lead the party,” he opined.

Giving advice to resolve the conflict in the opposition NPP, Dr. Amoako Baah said it will take the spirit of brotherliness and the good will to forgive to patch their differences, adding “some people are unforgiving and would drag issues till there is a total break in the party”.
