NPP Parliamentary Race: Kojo Oppong Nkrumah Hits The Campaign Trail

Former host of JOY FM’s Super Morning Show, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, who recently announced his political ambition to contest the NPP Parliamentary primaries in the Ofoase-Ayirebi Constituency in the Eastern Region has been given the go-ahead to campaign.

He was given the permission to campaign by the Eastern Regional NPP office after he was approved by the party’s vetting committee.

I have received notification from the Eastern Regional NPP office that I can officially start campaigning to be elected as NPP Parliamentary Candidate in the Ofoase-Ayirebi constituency for the 2016 elections.
Earlier I was passed by the Party's vetting committee,” he said.

Nkrumah who left the Kokomlemle-based station in January 2014 to pursue other interests, is finally getting set to lace his boots for his political career after picking number three [3] spot on the balloting sheet.

The celebrated broadcaster however took to his Facebook wall to announce that, he will in due time expand his campaign to all delegates to share with them his vision for the party and the constituency.

In the next 4 weeks, I will deepen my engagement with delegates to sell my 5 point plan for our constituency. I will also be updating you who are following my campaign on how the campaign is going,” he stated.

Kindly continue to pray for God's grace and guidance for me during this campaign and beyond. If you can volunteer to assist me in anyway as well, kindly sign up to support. I believe God will give us a resounding victory following the hard work we have done and continue to do with delegates in the constituency. Let's keep praying. Let's get to work,” he added.
