No Show @ YFM Presenters Case

There was no show at the hearing of the YFM presenter who was allegedly kidnapped and sexually assaulted at the Kaneshie Magistrate court where the case was supposed to have been heard.

There was no official reason given, but the DAILY HERITAGE gathered as of the time of leaving the scene that, Ms Ada was sick.

At the last adjourned date, the Ghana Police said the lady at the centre of the alleged abduction and sexual assault, Adaeze Onyinyechie Ayoka, also known as Ms Ada orchestrated the entire episode to get back at her ex-boyfriend.

The court, presided over by Judge Adwoa Akyaamaa Ofosu, sought to find out from the prosecutor, Inspector Anim Darko when Ms Ada was admitted at the hospital and when she would be discharged.

However, Inspector Darko, who could not give a specific date, was hopeful that Ms Ada who was admitted on April 16 would have been discharged by the time the case is recalled on June 10.

An 18-year-old painter, Nelson William, who was arrested by the police as an accomplice in the gang-rape scandal, is helping the police in their investigations.

The meeting was to ascertain whether Miss Ada could recognize the suspect.

Nelson, also known as Iddrisu, was seen in the photographs circulated on social media on top of Ada, supposedly raping her. He claimed that he did not penetrate the lady and that it was part of the act as allegedly suggested by Ada, who appears in the act stark naked with bare breasts.

He said they did not take any payment from Ada to perform the act.
