Asamoah Gyan Foundation To Hold Stars Soccer Fiesta In Kumasi

A Kumasi-based media select side will face Kumasi-based actors in the special curtain raiser for the 2015 edition of the Stars Soccer Fiesta event scheduled for the Kumasi sports stadium on Sunday, 21st of June 2015.

This is to involve for the first time the media in this year’s Stars soccer fiesta fun games.

The Kumawood line-up will include award winning actresses Nana Ama Mcbrown, Emelia Brobbey and Kumawood head Bill Asamoah, Agya Koo, Kwaku Manu, Kojo Nkansah (Lil-Wyn) Oboy Franko, Akroboto among many others.

The media will also be led by Metro FM’s Frank Owusu Ansah alias Franco Naro, Kessben’s Omanhene Yaw Adu-Boakye, Frederick Acheampong, Bright Kankam Boadu, (Ice Tee) and Sammar of Angel FM.

The game between the media and Kumawood stars will be a precursor to the main event on the day, the star-studded fun game will showcase Ghana’s foreign based players mainly drawn from the Black Stars coming up against Ghanaian Musicians, Actors and actresses.

A massive Road Show from Accra through Aburi to Kumasi will precede the main soccer event with two stopovers in Koforidua and Konongo hosted by Joy Dadi and Mama Vits Rice and Noodles. The concept is to sensitize the people on the need to observe good sanitation practice.

This year’s event will also have a charity bit with donations by the Asamoah Gyan Foundation and Emmanuel Adebayor Foundation at the Children’s Ward at Pampaso, Kumasi.
