Dzamefe Commission Report Not Ready For Sale To The General Public

Information available to The New Crusading GUIDE from The Ghana Publishing Corporations indicates that the much anticipated Justice Dzamefe Commission enquiry Report into Ghana’s 2014 FIFA World Cup campaign in Brazil is not ready for sale to the general public contrary to assertions being made by some government officials and a section of the media.

When the news team of The New Crusading GUIDE got to the Ghana Publishing Corporation yesterday morning it was informed that the corporation as at the time had not received any report from any government official and the corporation’s officials were not aware of the sale of the report.

It will be recalled that government last week promised to make the full report to the general public through the Ghana Publishing Corporation but documents seen placed at the sales point were C.I. 82 and the C.I.83 which requires the President to set up commission of inquiry into matters relating to the participation of the Black Stars in the 2014 world cup tournament held in Brazil 2014.

The government of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) has come under fire recently from some policy think –tank and social commentators for not releasing the report to the general public.

Several media houses, policy think –tanks, and the general public including the Ghana Football Association (GFA) yesterday went round all book shops and the GPC to get copies but all efforts were in vain.

Information reaching The New Crusading GUIDE indicate that some members of the public are threatening to advise themselves on the way forward should government refuse to make the full report public.
